What is The Fallout Network?

The Fallout Network is a series of communities, united by a shared passion for everything that is Fallout...

Fallout Network History

The Fallout Network journey began in 2014, started by Cyrus and Shaka (Reddit users Cyrus224 and Shaka1277). Their vision was to create a network of communities with simple access to FAQs, guides, user support, troubleshooting, and shared community goals that would bring people together, rather than push communities apart.

A dedicated team of moderators, graphic designers, coders, and more, came together with their expertise to guide community growth and foster a sense of greater community. A goal of increasing user experience was attempted by taking a cooperative approach with various teams, refining guidelines, and increasing engagement between different communities and their users.

A core group of four team members (Cyrus, Shaka, MisterWoodhouse, and Hunterworld) continued to offer their time and decades of experience running communities to find more ways to engage with the community. This included holding community events, giveaways, offering a weekly discussion series, creating polls to share demographics and more.

The team worked hard to foster a relationship with Bethesda to encourage them to participate in our communities. Community Managers from Bethesda would eventually contribute to our communities, by commenting, sharing updates, and engaging with fans by answering questions, joking around, and even holding AMA's (Ask Me Anything) with developers.

As Discord's popularity began to grow, it became a major platform and section of The Fallout Network. It was, and has been the world's largest Fallout Discord since its inception, matching our Reddit communities being the Largest Fallout communities online. Our Reddit community traffic was larger than Bethesda's own Fallout forums before they were archived, and we were proud to take in any who came over when they closed.

Today, The Fallout Network is a diverse global community supported by a dedicated team of Admins, Moderators, and Developers who are as varied as the communities they serve. We are united by a dedication to having inclusive communities, welcoming people from all over the world of different races, backgrounds, genders, identities, and everything else that makes us who we are, sharing one thing in common: our love for Fallout.
